What Is It Behind Those Eyes,
Is There Something that I Can’t See?
A Secret that I Don’t Know,
As You Carry on Looking at Me.
What is it with those Big Brown Eyes,
Is There a Story that Should be Told?
A Story You Should be Telling Me,
A Story that I Should Know.
We Have Been Together for a While,
So You Cannot Hide Nothing from Me,
Talk and We will Sort it Out Just You Wait and See.
I Know that there is Something Wrong,
Take a Deep Breath and Be Strong.
Whisper The Secret in My Ear,
Or Write it Down, Don’t Live in Fear.
You Look at Me Like I’ve Said Something Wrong,
Or is it Something that I Have Done?
Please Say to Me what is Troubling You,
If I Have to Say Sorry Well then I Will.
I Know what It’s Like I Have Been There To,
Keeping Things Hidden Out of View.
It Eats You Up What You Keep Inside,
So I Let it Out and Swallowed My Pride.
Please Talk to Me I Don’t Want to Keep On,
Get it Out in The Open and Then it is Done.
Don’t be Afraid I Will be Your Rock,
Even If it Comes, to Me As a Shock.
The Room Goes Quiet There is Not a Sound,
As I Prepare to Listen I Sit Myself Down.
Your Eyes Wide Open You Begin to Talk,
Pouring Out What is in Your Head,
Whilst Pacing a Slow Walk.
Tears of Emotion Running Down Your Sweet Face,
The Relief When I Look at You,
Now You’re in a Better Place.
Now It is Out in The Open and The Tears have Gone Away,
We Can Now Sort Out What is Wrong with All of this Dismay.
Things Can Always Be Fixed Whatever Road You Choose,
But Keeping Things to Yourself Can Make You So Confused.
What is it Behind That Smile, Do I Really Want to Know?
Or is it Just to Say Thank You,
Or Something Else That I Should Know?
