MOTHER NATURE...

The Sea comes Crashing Against the Rocks,

The Sea Comes Crashing Against The Rocks,

As I Watch it Develop from The Cliff Tops.

As Another Wave Starts Rolling In,

Then The Cycle Begins All Over Again.

The Rocks become Weak and Start Falling Apart,

This is Mother Nature that We Cannot Stop.

The Wind is Blowing through The Trees,

Bringing Branches Down to its Knees.

As The Leaves Start Swirling Around on The Ground,

Will Mother Nature Ever Calm Down?

The Thunderstorms are Raging there is Lightening in The Air,

The Clouds are Descending Bringing Darkness Everywhere.

Lighting Up The Sky The Lightening Starts to Strike,

The Clapping of The Thunder comes with All its Might.

Mother Nature is in Control when will it Stop Nobody Knows.

The Rain Starts Coming Down Beating Like a Drum,

The Rivers Starting to Fill Up The Floods have now Begun.

Water Cascades Everywhere Roads Start to Disappear,

Houses that You can’t get to and Lives are put in Fear.

Mother Nature Decides when She’s Done,

Damaging Everything in Sight and Hurting Everyone.

The Sun is Shining Bright from The Blue Sky Up Above,

It is Quiet and So Still has Mother Nature had Enough?

Then Temperatures Start to Rise and its Feeling Kind of Hot,

Mother Nature Comes Back and Shows just what She’s Got.

We are in for a Heatwave as The Grass Begins to Dry,

Plants begin to Wither, Curl Up and Start to Die.

The Heat is Exhausting and The Clouds have Burnt Away,

The Sun now Beating Down with its Rays Every Day.

Whether it’s Twisting Tornadoes That Form over Land,

Or Earthquakes that Shake from Below The Ground.

Erupting Volcanoes that bring Misery,

Then Below The Water a Tsunami!!

Surrounding Us Everyday Mother Nature Never Goes Away.

She Basks Herself in Waves of Glory,

But There are Two Sides to Every Story?

A New Life Comes Into This World,

Bringing Hope for The Future For this Boy or Girl,

Watching them Grow Up through The Cycles of Life,

Then in The Future Become a Husband or Wife.

The Birds Fly Out From Their Own Nests,

While The Fledglings Scream Putting Their Voices to The Test.

As They Wait for Food to Build Up Their Strength,

It’s Survival of The Fittest of Every Second that is Sent.

This is Mother Nature with Two Sides,

So Remember She can be this Jekyll and Hyde.

A Gentle Breeze Blowing Flowers in Their Beds,

A Coat of Many Colours and Aromas from Their Heads.

But as The Seasons Change The Flowers Disappear,

Taking them Away for Another Year.

A Spring in Our Step as it Begins to Get Light,

Summer is Here Bringing in Longer Nights.

Autumn is when The Trees Malt Their Leaves,

Winter is Back as it Begins to Freeze.

Mother Nature Blows Hot and Cold.

In a Changing Climate Around The World,

And Even Though She Will Always Be Here,

Our Planet Is For Keeps Let’s Not Let It Disappear.
